Athlete’s Foot

This is a non-contagious foot condition that develops around the skin of the feet. Tea tree oil and oils that come from natural plants and herbs can very easily cure this condition. There are also creams and lotions that are available over-the-counter to treat this condition.

Verrucas

This is a viral condition that is more common in children than in adults. This condition causes the skin on the foot to harden. The hardening typically develops on the heel.

Verrucas occurs as the result of the buildup of dead skin.  Removing the dead skin from the foot is one of the keys to treating this condition. There is also a cream available to prevent this condition.

Ingrown Toenail

This condition usually occurs as the result of a person wearing shoes that do not fit properly. Heredity may also play a role in the development of this condition. There are treatments available to remove the ingrown part of the toenail.

Toenail Fungus

Toenail fungus develops when a fungal infection attacks the nails. Medications and laser treatments are available to treat this condition. We are experienced clinic that is ready, willing and able to perform laser treatment for nail fungus.

Foot Corns

A corn typically develops when there is external pressure on the foot. This external pressure typically comes from a shoe. A podiatrist can successfully remove a foot corn.

Bunions

This problem is usually the result of wearing shoes that do not fit properly. This condition occurs when the first joint in the big toe begins to swell. If a patient does not experience relief with medications, padding and taping, then he or she may be required to get a procedure called a bunionectomy, which surgically removes the bunion.

The good news is that like most other foot conditions, this condition can be prevented with proper foot care.
