Keep Your Feet Flexible With These Three Easy Exercises

If you’re a runner, a dancer or just someone who is interested in taking great care of your feet, there are many exercises for you to choose from. The best thing about exercise for flexible feet is the fact that you can work it into your normal everyday routine. How convenient is that!

It’s a proven fact that one of the reasons people typically get toenail fungus is because of poor circulation and feet that have little or no flexibility. This information alone should be reason enough to opt to exercise your feet.

Here are a few excellent ways to get the job done. Feel free to turn on your favorite music, before you begin. Who knows? You just might end up dancing!

These exercises not only make your feet more flexible, they are wonderful for strengthening your toes and alleviating painful toe cramps.

Fan Your Toes

Start this exercise with your feet flat on the floor. They should be parallel to each other and a few inches apart. Raise your toes a total of four times. Make sure your big toes are raised to the same level as your little toes. Repeat four more times, this time, spreading your toes as far as you possibly can.

Raise Your Heels High

Begin with your right foot. Lift your heel so that you are standing on the ball of your foot. Keep in that position for a few seconds. Slowly lower your foot back down to the floor. Repeat the process 7 to 8 times and then do the same thing with your left foot.

Now that you have a good idea, in regard to what constitutes simple exercise for flexible feet, you might be able to come up with your own variations. Creativity is a wonderful thing.

Marble Pick Up

Place 20 large marbles, in a wide, shallow, bowl. Using your toes, pick up one marble at a time and transfer it to the floor. Repeat the process with the other foot. For more of a challenge, you can use smaller marbles or even beads.
